How long have you been with the business?

I started with DIA as an apprentice in 2016 and was made a Director of the company in 2023.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I like helping customers find what they need—and occasionally what they didn’t know they needed. I enjoy chatting with new people every day and staying in touch with customers I’ve known for years. (I love to talk, so sales is perfect!)

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I love spending time with friends and family and the "occasional" shopping trip- not forgetting a holiday here and there- I've visited over 15 different countries so far!

Tea or coffee?

Tea is the best for dunking.. but if we were to be specific, I would say a White Chocolate Mocha from Starbucks wins every day!

Favourite holiday destination?

Crete in Greece is my favourite- I've been going every year for the past 10 years but Vegas would be a high contender.

How long have you been with the business?

Long enough to know where all the good snacks are hidden—and who to ask for favours. However, officially I joined the team in January this year (2026)

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I enjoy building relationships with customers (and occasionally being their unofficial therapist - and vice versa)

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I have a 4year old English Springer Spaniel who is my "baby" now that my kids have flown the nest. So I love spending time with her and my husband, going on long walks (as long as there's a pub at the end). We have a static caravan on Dartmoor, so during the warmer months, you can usually find me out and about in Devon over the weekends. I also love to travel abroad , so spend more time than I should on the EasyJet site!

Tea or coffee?

Definitely coffee. If I'm at home or in the office then its got to be a frothy Salted Caramel Latte. If out, a White Chocolate Mocha from Starbucks is top of my list.

Favourite holiday destination?

Anywhere with an average temp of 30degs. However, Coral Bay in Cyprus is one of my favourite places having got married there in 2019.

How long have you been with the business?

Originally started as a sole trader in 1997- known as Designs in Aluminium- That's where 'DIA' began.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I like the fact that every day is different, I'm still learning 30 years in!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I'm a big Arsenal fan- so you'll find me behind the tv cheering them on.

Tea or coffee?

Coffee- Costas top customer.

Favourite holiday destination?

Anywhere the sun is shining!

How long have you been with the business?

Just over two years- but it feels like a lifetime!

What do you enjoy most about your job?

One of the best parts of the job is the people—I get on well with everyone and there’s a good atmosphere. I like that no two days are the same, and I enjoy the sense of satisfaction that comes from a hard day’s work.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Spending quality time with my son and embracing all aspects of farm life—especially working with sheep. I also enjoy unwinding with a drink at a country pub.

Both . Coffee in the morning to fuel me for the day ,then tea and biscuits in the afternoon 🍪

Favourite holiday destination?

The Maldives would be my dream holiday because of the clear blue water, white sandy beaches, and the chance to completely relaxed somewhere peaceful.

How long have you been with the business?

I started in the shopfitting industry many years ago and have now returned to it with DIA Systems and have been enjoying my time here for last 7 months.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Speaking with both new and existing customers to develop productive relationships and expand our business activity.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Love spending time with my family and have travelled extensively with them. Am always chasing round after the younger kids and extending our home to accommodate their ever-expanding wardrobes. I cycle to keep fit and escape their requests for a moment or two!!

Tea or coffee?

Both please. Coffee in the morning and tea in the afternoon. Perfect.

Favourite holiday destination?

Norway’s Arctic Circle region where you can see beautiful landscape and wildlife including whales, and sea eagles I enjoyed it so much the last time I visited family there.

How long have you been with the business?

Around 1-2 years

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I enjoy figuring out tricky problems and finding simple, effective solutions

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy both playing and watching football, as well as going to gigs. I like staying active and also making time for live music and good nights out with friends

Tea or coffee?

Coffee, without a doubt. It’s part of the daily routine — whether it’s that first strong cup in the morning or a quick break later on. Big fan of a good latte or flat white, but honestly happy with anything warm and caffeinated!

Favourite holiday destination?

Mexico or Leysdown — Mexico’s amazing for sunshine, beaches, and great food, but Leysdown’s perfect for a relaxed, classic seaside day closer to home.

I joined DIA in 2018.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I like how no one day is the same we do so many different types of jobs and it's also a great team to work with!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

When I’m not working, I’m either with family and friends, gaming, or trying to convince myself I need another gadget.
